Overview:

This is a REMOTE position.

Support day-to-day administration of 20+ pension plans including loans, hardships, enrollments, distributions and QDROs. Resource for co-workers questions and internal HR queries. Interacts with Vendors and payroll department. Processes Retirement applications including forms production.

Frequently reviews plan documents, SPDs and plan communications to maintain a thorough knowledge of the provisions and administrative procedures for the pension plans.

Maintains a superior level of customer service when interacting with co-workers, other internal Mercy departments or outside vendors. Promptly return calls and fills requests.

Assists in administrative tasks as needed including filing, copying, mailing and logging of paperwork.

Performs ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Four years of experience analyzing/managing data using spreadsheets and other data management tools. Working in a human resources environment preferred.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
  • Preferred Experience: Two or more years experience supporting Compensation functions.
  • Other: Strong analytical skills, Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines, Highly organized, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, Computer proficiency and advanced technical aptitude with Word, Excel and Access, Ability to work with and preserve confidential information, Self-starter who can work independently without constant supervision.
  • Preferred Licensure: CEBS courses
  • Preferred Experience: 3-5 years in an HR role. 1-2 years related pension or recording experience. Thorough knowledge of pension plan designs.Preferred Certifications:
  • Preferred Other: Exposure to VBA
