Ocean Spray is seeking a Sr. Data Sync Analyst to lead the charge in developing, implementing, and maintaining best-in-class data synchronization processes and practices in line with GS1 Standards. This role is instrumental in ensuring data accuracy and improving customer experience.
The position will be a hybrid between remote & onsite work based in Lakeville or Boston, MA
A Day in the Life of a Sr. Data Sync Analyst:
- Develop a clear understanding of GS1 Standards, Data Sync principles, and Data Quality Principles.
- Build out the data sync process at Ocean Spray. Standardize best in class process, practices, procedures, and tools while creating a simplified customer experience.
- Identify key retailer top causes of data errors/violations and set course to reduce errors and improve ?first time right? data accuracy.
- Lead operational business activities across the organization to engage senior stakeholders to embed long term corrective actions.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction and efficiencies through effective understanding and working knowledge of the GS1 standards.
- Support and mature the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) Data Quality and Governance program.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for key stakeholder partners including R&D, Data Governance, Marketing, Go-To-Market, Supply and Graphics to provide ongoing GS1 standards education, training, and decision making in line with GS1 Standards and Ocean Spray processes.
- Develop skills, talent, and value mindset while helping Sales Operations Team to learn, grow, and challenge status quo to continue elevating Data Sync as a source of Value within Ocean Spray.
- Take an active role in GDSN standards community from a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing perspective while bringing back into Ocean Spray future standards. Test and ensure capabilities exist to meet new requirements.
- Attend the annual GS1 conference and Customer Specific Webinars.
- When new data is data synced, (re)generate sell sheets in Salsify and upload to the Teams Site with the updated documents.
- Build out and maintain the nutritional product data in EBX until the Regulatory PLM is complete.
- Build a training doc for data input and salsify channel mapping. Train Sales Ops team members as back up resources.
- Salsify subject matter expert for all data sync transactions. Build external channels mapped to Nielsen Brandbank, Kroger etc.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ Years of relevant experience
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage processes and engage key stakeholders across the organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
- Experience with One World Sync and Salsify preferred
- Familiarity with GDSN and GS1 Standards preferred
