The Capital Sales Representative reports to the Capital Sales Manager and is responsible for the sales of complex industrial chemical storage and feed systems around the globe, focused mainly on the US and Canada. This position will require strategic thinking, the ability to travel and network with clients, and sell as a team utilizing the applications engineering department.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with clients to drive new business growth
  • Communicate effectively internally to provide updates and pull in resources to help design and sell new projects
  • Strategically assess opportunities and prioritize time effectively
  • Keep abreast of customers and market conditions, providing input to support development of sales and marketing strategies
  • Document customer interactions and record relevant sales activity.
  • Regularly interact with STT Finance, Legal and Applications departments to sell opportunities as a team
  • Collaborate with Carmeuse Lime sales team to team sell where applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Business or relevant Industrial Sales Experience.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience
  • Business development experience with Engineering Firms preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience building Strong business relationships.
  • Travel up to 50%+
  • Must be willing and able to travel internationally, extensive travel to Canada and US.
