Our client is a 30+ year privately-owned company with a focus on their people, clients, and leading technologies. Their Cloud Services Division is a rapidly growing business helping clients manage their Cloud technology. The team is comprised of leaders that focus on delivering innovative consulting solutions that leverage leading and emerging technologies.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collab with the Sales and Account Management team as a pre-sales resource to assist in identifying and scoping Azure Cloud opportunities.
- Create blueprints for hybrid cloud infrastructures centered around Azure (network, server, storage, and management software topologies)
- Deliver consulting on Multi Cloud Well-Architected Framework
- Provide oversight of delivery throughout the implementation
- Be a Cloud subject matter expert while understanding how to interact in a multi-cloud environment. Provide deep-dive technical expertise on Azure, AWS, and GCP during sales engagements.
- 3-4 days per month in travel possible
- Contribute to the development of internal best practices as well as new innovative consulting services offerings that we can take to market.
- Contribute to the presence and brand in the Cloud and DevOps community.
- Create methods and frameworks to support sales of our strategy and risk management professional services
- Support pre-sales and post-sales meetings and presentations with our clients
- Ensure a strong understanding of the clients? needs during project scoping
- Create high quality and impactful proposals to clients and write SOWs for strategy and risk management cybersecurity delivery engagements
- Provide outstanding support to clients and internal teams, and continuously improve our processes
- Help define and bring to market new offerings and capabilities
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate the applicability of new software technologies to platform development effort
- Provide leadership of teams and business priorities by building relationships, listening, consulting, and influencing outcomes in both client delivery and sales
- Create thought leadership and technical content such as blogs, white papers, and marketing collateral to build our marketplace eminence and support sales conversations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor?s degree from an accredited university is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with public, private and hybrid cloud architectures
- 5+ years of experience working for Consulting firm with a focus on Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Cloud certifications
- Strong expertise in solutioning technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies
- Hands-on experience with adjacent technology areas including Network, Security, Identity and Access Management, Landing Zone best practices, and Monitoring and Well-Architected Framework
- Deep understanding of the current state of the art for infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL/NewSQL, networking, and cloud-based delivery models
- 3+ years of experience with automation platforms and tools (Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
- Technical Experience with Azure:
- 5+ Years with Foundational Services ? Compute, Database, AI/ML, Cloud Storage
- Strong preference for additional experience with AKS, data and analytics, multi-cloud solutions, AI/ML, developer tools, cloud migration, and DevOps tools/processes in Azure
- Ability to mix technical expertise with simple, everyday language to deliver a story that is memorable, educational, and useful.
- IaaC, Containers, Terraform, CI/CD Pipeline familiarity, Configuration Management, Service Catalogs, and Cloud Management Solutions
- Motivated self-starter who loves to solve challenging problems and feels comfortable working directly with customers
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
