JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Health Policy and Administration (HPA) in the College of Health and Human Development (HHD) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member in the Masters? of Health Administration Program (MHA). This is a 48-week term academic appointment to begin in January 2024. The position will be filled as an Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor depending on the candidate?s qualifications. Primary teaching responsibilities may include but are not limited to courses on Health Information Technology, Health Care Operations, Project Management, Population Health and Health Care Policy. Qualifications. Candidates must hold a Master?s Degree (Doctoral Degree is preferred) in health management, health policy, nursing, economics, public health, or a related field and have teaching experience preferably both in-person and online. Professional Experience or background in healthcare, organizations, or consulting is desired. Must possess the ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff. Salary is competitive and commensurate with background and experience along with a competitive benefits package.
