Position description
The Department of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures is seeking part-time Lecturers to teach five lower division Russian language courses and two upper division heritage Russian language courses during the 2023-24 academic year. The ideal candidate should be a native or near-native speaker of Russian trained in foreign language pedagogy and familiar with the textbooks and online coursework used as the foundation for the Elementary Russian sequence taught at UCLA. The ideal candidate must hold at minimum a M.A. in Russian language and literature, and preferably a Ph.D.
