JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State DuBois is seeking applicants for a part-time adjunct lecturer of CI 295/295A, Introductory Field Experience for Teacher Preparation for Spring 2024. This course is an introductory teacher preparation course and utilizes a variety of field experiences (both observations within secondary school classrooms and individualized tutoring) to engage prospective education majors in issues related to teaching and learning. Students will learn about adolescent learners and elements of socially and emotionally safe classrooms. Inquiry into teacher beliefs as well as student diversity is a focus of the course. Students will be introduced to elements of teacher professionalism and professional identity.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree in a related field and be able to teach assigned course using traditional and hybrid/online delivery methods.
