Job description: Our fitness studio is growing quickly, and we need a personal trainer to help our customers achieve their fitness goals. You'll be assessing our customers' fitness levels, creating personalized training routines, and ensuring they're utilizing equipment properly. This role requires outstanding customer service skills as well as a love for exercise and helping others improve their health and wellness. Responsibilities:

• Improve client fitness by customizing exercises to meet each person's unique needs and skills
• Perform personal fitness assessments to ensure that all exercise routines are appropriate for each client
• Track and adjust client progress and make changes to fitness plans accordingly
• Uphold all gym standards and safety rules to keep clients safe and comfortable while they workout
• Decrease the chance of injury by teaching clients appropriate techniques for all exercises, especially for specialized equipment
• Conduct initial fitness and quarterly goal assessments for clients
• Create individualized and customized training programs for clients and are suitable to each client's individual goals and abilities
• Lead small group and personal training sessions
• Produce referrals and online reviews
• Maintain an 80% or higher member renewal rate
• Uphold all gym standards and safety rules to keep clients safe and progressing toward their goals

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Must possess a current certification as a fitness instructor or personal trainer
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• Certification is not required but expected within 6 months of hire. Will provide on-the-job training
