Title: API/Integration Architect

Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite/ Hybrid)



Responsibilities



  • Lead the enterprise application integration EAI strategy and platform SOA EDI ETL Data Virtualization architecture

  • Collaborate with other engineers and architects within online and other parts of EA to drive guidelines and documentation

  • Provides advanced technical expertise oversight and accountability for resolution of outages service level issues and other events in partnership with support teams

  • Define proactive activities and tasks required for optimization of stability performance and architecture

  • Closely partner with information security in insuring all applicable security and compliance standards and requirements are incorporated into service design

  • Create, designs and oversee implementation of enterprise integration capabilities between various heterogeneous systems within HIG GB eco system

Required Skills



  • Understanding of the concepts of SOAP and REST services both XML and JSON message formats

  • Exposure to SOA governance tools such as SoftwareAG Centrasite

  • 5-7 years of overall programming on Java JEE related technologies

  • 2-3 years of Experience in API development

  • Solid experience in designing Channel Process and System APIs, also in REST and SWAGGER, and in API Implementation Patterns, API taxonomy, and API LifeCycle
