You will have these tools at your disposal to extend the OneDrive experience across the apps and devices people use every day.<br><br>We are a multi-disciplinary Design Studio, with researchers, writers and engineers who are entrusted (along with you) to innovate on the OneDrive experience used by millions of people every day across the planet.<br><br>We?re passionate about delivering incredibly useful apps on every device, learning as we go, building on the work of others, using the best tools for the job, and doing what's right without waiting to be told.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>We are looking for a Product Designer with work that reflects a passion for people, a respect for craft and a deep curiosity about designing and delivering new experiences.<br><ul><li>Generate, ideate, and iterate UX solutions, user flows, wireframes and prototypes for new features in the Photos space and improving existing areas of the OneDrive product. </li><li>Have a solid understanding and can exemplify basic graphic design and design principles, UI design, typography, layout, composition, and illustration. </li><li>Activate User Research insight-gathering activities, facilitate design sprints and collaborative activities, and leverage toolkits and reusable components built across Microsoft?s network of design studios as needed. </li><li>Low and high-fidelity UI and interaction designs aligned to existing OS/Platform toolkits including Windows, macOS, mobile platforms and HTML (web-based) experiences. </li><li>Maintain close partnership with User Research, Product Management, Engineers, Customer Support, Content Designers, Operations, and other essential collaborators in creating digital tools. Pursue a deep understanding of the objectives, deliverables, process, and communications of these partner disciplines. <br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Required/Minimum Qualifications:</strong><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field</li><ul><li>OR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems)<br></li></ul></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br></strong><ul><li>Project management and presentation skills. </li><li>Interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills. </li><li>Experience working in cloud file storage systems, including relevant personal and enterprise customer scenarios. </li><li>Hands-on experience in a secondary field such as motion design, visual design, front end software engineering, or industrial design.</li><li>Experience in digital design tools, including Figma &amp; Adobe Creative Suite, and techniques including auto-layout, components, and variants. </li><li>Ability to prioritize across multiple projects with various stakeholders and timeline constraints. </li><li>Ability to collaborate with Program Management, Engineering, Marketing and Usability Researchers. </li><li>Ability to think conceptually about design and information architecture. </li><li>Understand the array of technical constraints, user goals and business requirements that shape current and future products. <br></li></ul>Product Design IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,400 - $151,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,300 - $165,400 per year.<br><br>Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
