Clinical Assistant (Part-time, Remote)

What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Obtain history and vital signs, and document in the electronic medical record system
? Assist in examinations and procedures for patients with providers
? Answer telephone calls and messages promptly
? Monitor labs and X-ray results
? Participate in performance improvement activities and staff trainings
What Is Required (Qualifications)
? High School diploma or GED equivalent
? Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
? Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
? Proficiency with MS Office applications and the internet
? Knowledgeable of HIPAA standards of privacy and confidentiality
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Associates Degree
? Minimum of two years' experience in health education, patient navigation, and/or health clinic patient assistance field
? Prior healthcare experience
? CMA or RMA certification or willingness to obtain
? Bilingual in Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, and/or Spanish with English
