- Address member and provider inquiries received through the employer's 1-800 numbers
- Provide clear direction on plan policies, procedures, and benefits
- Document call details accurately for tracking member/provider contacts
- Identify and communicate trends indicative of service issues
- Escalate member/provider concerns and servicing issues as necessary
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or advanced education desirable
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in a customer-facing inbound call center setting
- Ability to multitask with strong typing skills and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong data entry skills essential for success in this role
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with health insurance products
- Familiarity with customer service best practices in a call center environment
- Advanced problem-solving skills to address complex inquiries effectively
