What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Assist students in peer instruction during class sessions
• Participate in weekly instructional team meetings
• Grade student assignments and provide feedback
• Support course delivery using the Canvas platform
• Engage with sustainability topics during instruction

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Experience assisting students in mathematics at the college algebra level
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in topics related to sustainability
• Ability to work collaboratively within an instructional team
• Must be available for up to 12 hours per week

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or tutor in mathematics
• Familiarity with the Canvas learning management system
• Passion for sustainability and environmental issues
• Enrollment in a related degree program at the university
