JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking a team player who strives to support and help drive success within an organization. The Deal Support Specialist will be responsible for partnering with the sales teams to assist with creating customer facing documents that a customer would sign to acknowledge a purchase (a Quote). They will also be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data in our CRM (Salesforce.com). The ideal candidate will have order support or experience working with sales teams in a support capacity. Additionally, excellent verbal communication and a passion or interest in supporting sales teams, technology and process support/development are required to perform the role.

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following:
? Partner with strategic sales team, assist with and create quotes for top 3-5 Customers
? Learn, utilize and train Deal Support Representatives on best practices around the quoting process to ensure accuracy and efficiency
? Responsible for resolving Tier 2 quote to cash related issues with Customers, Sales, Professional Services, Order Operations, Billing, Finance and Legal and escalating Tier 3 issues to manager
? Identify gaps in quoting process and document processes to increase efficiencies and resolve gaps
? Support period end close processes to ensure quick financial closure and accurate accounting of sales transactions
? Resolve identified data issues and have a data integrity mindset
? Work with Analytics team to identify new data issues and monitor continuously
? Work with Deal Support Representatives to ensure service level agreements are met on sales issues queue
? Additional tasks and projects as assigned

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.

The Vertafore Incentive Plan (VIP) is an annual monetary bonus for eligible employees based on both individual and company performance. Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.

Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common components include quota, MBO's and ABPMs. Salespeople receive their formal compensation plan within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications: ? Associates degree or higher ? 2-4 years of relevant work experience ? Experienced with Salesforce.com ? Intermediate experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Additional Requirements and Details:
? Travel required up to 10% of the time.
? Located and working from an office location.
? Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
? Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
? Frequent sitting and/or standing.
