Position Details:
? Location: Fully Remote
? School Year: 2024-2025
? Contract Type: 1099
? Student Needs: Working with students with diverse disabilities
? Caseload Information: Provided during the interview

Key Responsibilities: ? Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, working closely with parents, school administrators, and other professionals. ? Use a range of assessment tools to track student progress and adapt instructional methods as needed. ? Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enhances student engagement. ? Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to ensure effective integration and accommodations in the mainstream classroom. ? Apply various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities. ? Track and document students? progress, behaviors, and achievements; maintain detailed records and reports. ? Engage with parents and guardians to maintain open communication and involve them in their child?s educational process. ? Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities as required.

Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Teaching/Special Education ? Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in Minnesota ? Experience with special needs students preferred ? Commitment to ongoing professional growth and staying current with special education practices ? Familiarity with virtual learning environments preferred
