Job Description:
The Junior Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the People team by assisting executive leadership with global purchase order requisitions, performing invoice processing, and handling supplier setups and onboarding. This role requires the ability to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with colleagues, vendors, and team members, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. The Junior Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining confidentiality and exercising outstanding judgment on high-level matters when issues arise. A proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role also demands exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and confidence in performing daily activities.
Key Responsibilities: ? Assist the Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) with creating, processing, and tracking all purchase order requisitions on a global basis. ? Support the SFA in reviewing and approving correlating invoices for payment processing by the Medidata Accounting team. ? Help the SFA with all People team stakeholder prospective supplier setups and new supplier onboarding requests in Workday. ? Assist the SFA in maintaining and updating the People team Historical Requisition Tracker, including all requisition to purchase order vendor information. ? Perform other duties as assigned.
