How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

Who we are?...

Delta Air Lines and the Delta Sky Club (DSC) team operate 55+ airport lounges in 37 cities, encompassing more than 400,000 square feet of space across the United States. The DSC team is looking for a Project Lead, Design & Facilities to join our dedicated team of professionals in delivering an extraordinary experience to our Sky Club guests.

Our collective mission: Make every guest feel like the most valued person in the club.

Our collective vision: Make Sky Clubs a reason to fly Delta.

Who you are?

You have extensive experience in architecture, interior design and construction (as a professional in practice and as an owner/client), leading teams and collaborating to deliver class-leading projects in hospitality, luxury retail and/or experience design. You have worked with a wide range of partners to understand and deliver on their needs, doing so energetically, insightfully and with confidence in a dynamic work environment. You work seamlessly with other industry professionals and can visually present any message to anyone in a clear, concise manner.

Driven in your pursuit of precision, you understand it is an ideal state which must be balanced alongside budgets, schedules and partner needs. Your ability to ?get in the weeds? is legendary, but you never ?miss the forest for the trees.? Going above and beyond drives you.

As a DSC team member, you love travel (25 to 30 for club visits and project related work) and are self-motivated, but proactively self-aware and willing to ask for help when you need it.

What you will do?

As Project Lead, Sky Club Design & Facilities you will partner with our Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and DeltaWorks (JLL) teams to handle Capital projects (new club designs or large renovations) and facility maintenance (FM) for the club network. You will continually help to de-/re-fine our DSC guest experience, thinking and working at both a project (tactical) and program (strategic) level for Delta.

You will take ownership of the DSC project cycle for clubs in your region to ensure Delta?s Brand Design standards are met, customer requirements are delivered and the guest experience is world-class throughout. You will drive and lead the design of clubs to enhance support of the DSC Experience and Operations teams along with our hospitality service partners who deliver best-in-class customer service to our guests. You will lead all this while partnering with CRE to meet or exceed budget and schedule targets.

Once clubs are completed and in operation, you will continue collaboration with DSC Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) and our DeltaWorks team to provide input, expertise and guidance for our facilities and furniture management program in support of day-to-day club operations. We align with club staff and leadership to deliver repairs and preventative maintenance of all facility and furniture elements; improving long-term value for Delta?s capital investments.

You will guide ?lessons learned? feedback sessions within the Design & Facilities team to ensure our team is aware of what worked, what did not and how we can improve both guest experience and the project delivery process going forward.
