About Mutti UK:

Following significant growth over the last 3 years, Mutti is now the No.2 brand in ambient tomatoes in the UK with the ambition to become the No.1 brand by 2026. To continue this growth trajectory Mutti is looking to hire a proactive Category and Shopper Marketing Manager to accelerate customer development in the UK. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director temporarily before moving to Head of Category & Shopper Marketing and support the retail growth strategy.

Main responsibilities: ? Lead category reviews, develop recommendations to drive growth for Mutti customers in line with strategies & objectives. ? Have a robust view on sector, category & consumer trends and can identify future opportunities and gaps. ? Support the sales teams to deliver the category story and unlock growth across a demanding customer base. ? Bring together shopper insights, market & retailer data to best understand & present the market & the consumer dynamics. ? Deliver agreed reporting schedule to retailer ensuring that range review recommendations, range change reviews and NPD performance tracking is all delivered in a timely manner that fits to retailer planning horizons. ? Work with the Marketing teams to create compelling category stories for branded innovation / listings. ? Support the development of shopper marketing plans / promo plans / NPD launches linking with key stakeholders throughout the process. ? Using your category insights to deliver shopper marketing tactic and executing instore to drive purchase ? Ensuring the Mutti brand and product ranges standout in-store, utilising POS both in and out of aisle to inspire shoppers to purchase ? Create a fully integrated shopper marketing campaign aligned to the UK marketing plans. ? Developing a strong and collaborative relationship with buyers and the retailer media agencies ? Manage a trade marketing budget for maximum ROI and track performance against KPIs.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for a proactive professional who has successfully operated to at least Trade / Shopper Marketing Manager level within a branded FMCG Supplier. Candidates who have accelerated brand expansions and masterminded impactful shopper campaigns would be of high interest for this opportunity. Cross-functional experience in other marketing functions such as category, consumer insights or brand would be beneficial. Customer facing Grocery / Top 4 experience is key.

To be successful in this role it is essential you can:
? Demonstrate an impressive track record of both category and shopper marketing experiences within a dynamic and demanding grocery environment.
? Be analytical, creative and have a passion for collating data to drive shopper insights.
? Be able to story tell and bring the ?so what? from the insights and be able to recommend solutions to retailers.
? It is essential you can be resourceful, building winning plans from the insights data available (Kantar, Nielsen and customer specific data platforms.)
? Have a good understanding of the full Shopper Journey and each touchpoint.
? Effectively communicate and be able to influence others.
? Display the courage, passion and creativity to identify opportunities internally and externally.
? Lead by example and be an ambassador for Mutti,
? Be passionate about high quality food brands and have a deep understanding of its health, environmental and lifestyle benefits.
? Push the boundaries by having a growth mindset, being bold, ambitious and entrepreneurial
? Quickly adapt into a ?start-up? business environment

Despite 125 years of history and market leader status in Europe the UK retail space is relatively untapped for Mutti. The ideal candidate will realise the potential and elevate the brand to world class supplier status.

? Location: Home-Based contract with occasional travel to the Mutti UK office (High Wycombe)
