Mazel Events is the team behind some of the most exciting Jewish singles events, including our
renowned Matzoball and the Jewzz dating app. We are seeking a proactive and organized
Virtual Event Assistant to support our National Director in planning, promoting, and executing
virtual and in-person events across multiple U.S. cities. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role
that will allow you to develop key event and marketing skills while working closely with our
leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Support:
? Assist in sourcing event venues and coordinating with vendors for both virtual and
in-person events.
? Provide logistical and administrative support during event planning and execution.
? Help recruit and manage event staff, ensuring clear communication and adherence to
timelines.
Marketing Assistance:
? Collaborate with the marketing team to create event promotions and content for social
media.
? Coordinate with influencers, sponsors, and partners for event marketing campaigns.
? Monitor social media platforms and respond to inquiries about events.
Administrative Tasks:
? Maintain and update event schedules, budgets, and checklists.
? Assist with post-event follow-up and reporting.
Qualifications:
? Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
? Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
? Proficient in social media platforms and marketing tools (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn,
Twitter, etc.).
? Comfortable using Excel and other project management software.
? Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
? Event experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role is key!
