Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University?s mission of Training

engagement with students, and scholarship as a ????means to a

variety of techniques for the ????development of good learning
??conditions, view each student as a unique individual, and insofar
as it is ????possible, provide for individual ??differences,
abilities, and interests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Teaching material from the approved curriculum in accordance
with an assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.This
position requires faculty to teach 16-week omni-channel courses in
a live, synchronous, streamed video/presentation format using
Microsoft TEAMS.

2. Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and
learning outcomes. 3. Provide regular and timely feedback to
students.

4. Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining
productive contact with students and by getting in touch with and
offering assistance to absent students. 5. Advise students in
matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors.

6. Motivate students to participate in all aspects of the
educational process actively.

7. Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance
with university policies.

8. Maintain university standards regarding course activity, emails,
grading, and communication with Instructional Mentor and
students.

9. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS Education and
Experience
? Terminal degree in Public Health (PhD, DrPH).
? All degrees must be from an institution accredited by an
accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of
Education.
? Applicants must demonstrate a personal faith commitment to the
university?s evangelical Christian purpose.
? Full adherence to the evangelical mission and doctrine of
Liberty University.
? Familiarity with and use of collaborative learning techniques
and student-centered methods of instruction.
? Proven organizational skills and ability to complete
assignments timely and accurately with minimal supervision.
? Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to
communicate effectively with students with a wide range of
skills.
? Possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, and
problem-solving skills. Ability to work well with students,
faculty, and staff. Demonstrated strength or potential in teaching
at the college level.
