Work from Home - Special Education Teacher

Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across Massachusetts? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative special education teacher to join our virtual team. You?ll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, you?ll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently.

Key Responsibilities: ? Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with special needs. ? Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with parents and school staff. ? Use engaging, research-based teaching methods tailored to students' specific needs. ? Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth. ? Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success. ? Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students. ? Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Special Education. ? Active Massachusetts Special Education teaching license ? Experience working with IEPs and various student needs ? Preferably experienced in virtual teaching or online learning platforms ? Professional liability insurance
