High School ELA / Writing Teacher ? Remote

Test Preparation Tutor/Curriculum developer

Duties:
• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students preparing for tests in ELA/Writing.
• Teach test-taking strategies and techniques to improve performance and increase confidence.
• Assist students in understanding complex concepts and solving problems.
• Create and administer practice tests to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment during tutoring sessions.
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment.

Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge and expertise in the subjects of ELA/Writing.
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring in High School education settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Patience and empathy when... working with students of different learning styles and abilities.
• Strong organizational skills to develop study plans and track student progress.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
