Investigative Genetic Genealogy Teaching Assistant ? Remote ? Part-time

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Attend live virtual classes twice weekly to support classroom instruction
• Assist the lead instructor in organizing the learning environment, preparing materials, and grading assignments
• Provide one-on-one support for students needing additional assistance with weekly lessons
• Substitute for the lead instructor during live classes as needed
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Demonstrated work experience in investigative genetic genealogy, including leads generated with IGG
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Workspace
• Expertise in GEDmatch and FamilyTreeDNA for IGG
• Proficiency with IGG-related tools including DNA Painter

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience with teaching or leadership in a virtual classroom setting
