Position Overview: We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Online English Tutors to join our team, delivering exceptional language instruction to students in the Calgary area. As an Online English Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, providing flexible and engaging English language lessons to learners of various ages and proficiency levels.

Responsibilities: ? Virtual Classroom Engagement: Conduct interactive and engaging online English lessons using our virtual teaching platform. Employ a variety of teaching techniques, resources, and multimedia to keep students motivated and immersed in the learning process. ? Individualized Instruction: Assess each student's language proficiency and learning objectives to tailor lessons that meet their unique needs. Provide personalized feedback and guidance to help students improve their language skills effectively. ? Curriculum Delivery: Design and implement lesson plans that encompass grammar, vocabulary, reading... comprehension, writing skills, and conversational practice. Create a well-rounded curriculum that fosters comprehensive language development. ? Progress Tracking: Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary. Keep accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessment results. ? Effective Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, or guardians regarding lesson schedules, progress reports, and any concerns. Respond promptly to inquiries and provide guidance to enhance the learning experience. ? Flexible Schedule: Adapt to the scheduling preferences of students by offering a range of lesson times, accommodating varying time zones and availability. ? Stay Updated: Stay current with the latest trends in language teaching methodologies, educational technology, and online learning tools. Continuously enhance your teaching skills and adapt them to the virtual classroom environment. ? Encourage Participation: Foster a supportive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages active student participation, interaction, and collaboration.

Qualifications: ? Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). ? Proven experience in teaching/tutoring English, particularly in an online setting. ? Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken. ? Proficiency in utilizing online teaching platforms and tools. ? Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students remotely. ?
