The Mortgage Processor I plays a crucial role in the Mortgage Processing Department, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient processing of consumer and mortgage loans. This position involves handling loan applications from initiation through closing, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process.
Responsibilities
? Processing consumer loans and in-house consumer real estate loans.

? Accurate document processing and fulfillment of loans, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations from the point of application through post-closing.

? New loan data entry, including escrow set-up.
,
? Denied/withdrawn application processing.
,
? Loan file completion, scanning, indexing, and maintenance.

? Process all daily transactions & payments efficiently and timely with optimum accuracy.

? Review and quality check loan files.

? Ordering of appraisals, title work, flood determinations, verification of employment, and any other necessary documents.

? Tickler set-up and tracking for outstanding items.
,
? Assist in developing and implementing daily processes and make recommendations for process improvements.

? Assure a smooth and efficient workflow in loan fulfillment and customer loan support.

? Responsible for the cordial and enthusiastic greeting of every customer.

? Cross-sell bank services.

? Assist with special projects/other duties as assigned.
