Part Time Auditor

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Auditor comfortable with working in a primarily virtual work environment to join our team.Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, with a focus on ensuring financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP.This is a repeat seasonal position beginning in Q4 and extending to Q1 to early Q2 each year.Responsibilities:
• Analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Review financial statements and reports for adherence to GAAP requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements to be used in tax preparation.
? Requirements*
• Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA
• Proven experience in auditing, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in financial report analysis.
• Familiarity with audit processes and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
