The Pre-Registration Representative at Parallon is responsible for managing the pre-registration process for patients, ensuring accurate collection of demographic and financial information prior to their scheduled services. Responsibilities
? Perform pre-registration at least one day prior to the date of service for all in-scope services.

? Review patient insurance and benefits to explain, quote, and collect estimated patient cost share.

? Contact patients via phone to confirm or obtain missing demographic information.

? Receive inbound calls to confirm or obtain missing demographic information.
,
? Complete Medicare Secondary Payor Questionnaire as applicable.
,
? Utilize appropriate escalation processes to the facilities.
,
? Utilize provided guides to efficiently quote policies, answer inquiries, and direct patients.
,
? Ensure appropriate documentation is entered in standard format on the patient record in the applicable Health Information System.

? Meet/exceed performance expectations and complete work within required timeframes.
,
? Implement and follow system downtime procedures when necessary.

? Practice and adhere to the 'Code of Conduct' philosophy and 'Mission and Value Statement'.

? Adhere to all department policies, processes, and procedures.

? Assist with other call center lines of business based on need.
Requirements
? High school diploma or GED preferred.

? One year of related experience preferred.
