Full Charge Bookkeeper
Posted 2025-03-14We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is dependable, confidential and detail-oriented. Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is necessary. A successful candidate should be looking for a long term career opportunity in an office setting. Location: On-site office
Pay: $21-$25 per hour starting wage, DOE
Duties & Responsibilities:
? Monthly, quarterly and annual bookkeeping for clients across a wide range of industries. ? Bank and credit card reconciliations ? Record adjusting journal entries ? Creating invoices, receiving payments and making deposits ? Entering bills and processing A/P check runs ? Recording and reconciling intercompany transactions ? Assisting with onboarding new clients ? Setting up payroll, including employee and employer payroll taxes ? Processing payroll and making related payroll tax deposits ? Department of Revenue submissions ? Preparing various financial reports for clients, including reviewing for reasonableness and accuracy. ? Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, including: W2/W3, 941, 940, L&I, SUI, PFML and LT Care tax. ? Preparing and reviewing 1096/1099 ? Creating and maintaining the chart of accounts and items lists within QuickBooks ? Communicating with clients to obtain and exchange information and to assist with answering questions
Qualifications:
? Accounting degree or certificate is desirable ? Career-oriented and able to be punctual ? 2-4 years of experience utilizing QuickBooks Desktop ? Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel and Word ? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ? Self-starting and proactive approach to work ? Ability to receive constructive criticism and feedback to improve processes ? Reliable and trustworthy with a high focus on confidentiality ? Always maintains a general high level of professionalism ? IT savvy and comfortable working with technology ? 10-key proficient
