As a Music Instructor specializing in drums at School of Rock, you will play a crucial role in delivering performance-based music education to students. This part-time position emphasizes creating a dynamic and inspiring learning environment, ensuring students not only learn music but also develop essential life skills through the art of performance. Responsibilities
? Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons and show rehearsals.

? Ensure students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using the School of Rock Method?.
,
? Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching Method, Books and Method App.
,
? Communicate with parents on the progress of students by creating quality lesson notes and assignments in the School of Rock Method App for at-home practice.
,
? Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible while at the school.
,
? Pitch in during canceled lessons in the overall execution of the program.
,
? Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities.

Requirements
? 2+ years experience teaching and/or performing music professionally.

? Knowledge of music theory and curriculum design.

? Strong customer relations skills.

? Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers.

? Strong organizational skills.

? Resourceful; good problem-solver.

? Works well under pressure.
