As a Medical Claims Representative Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and support of the medical claims process for our customers. This position focuses on personal injury protection medical coverage, where you will be responsible for analyzing accident details, medical records, and relevant terminology. Your role will involve adjusting claims while maintaining strong relationships with customers, which is essential for providing excellent service. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others, as we will provide the necessary training in insurance processes to help you gain confidence when interacting with customers. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work in-office for two days selected by local leadership, while the remaining three days can be spent working from home or in the office, depending on your preference. This arrangement will be in place for a period of 12 months, after which the frequency of in-office attendance for important meetings, training, and collaboration will vary based on business needs. In this supportive hybrid work environment, you will have the opportunity to develop relationships, establish connections, and share best practices with your leaders and experienced colleagues, which is vital for your professional growth. Once you complete your training, your responsibilities will include researching policy contracts, regulations, and the causes of injuries to make informed coverage decisions. You will conduct research to understand the correlations between medical records and motor vehicle accidents, injuries, or medical conditions. Additionally, you will identify and research wage loss expenses and documentation for payment consideration, as well as review and interpret policy language when subrogation demands are received.
Responsibilities
? Research policy contract, regulation, and cause of injury to make coverage decisions.

Requirements
? Three years of relevant work experience OR
,
? Bachelor's degree OR
,
? Two years relevant work experience and an associate degree.
