Position Overview
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Coordinator and supporting the Human Resources Department, the candidate will be responsible for performing in-person inspections of a portfolio of different Alv?ole cities? beekeeping operations. They will be HR?s resource for evaluating Alv?ole?s compliance with federal and state laws as well as company standards and specifications. They will file reports and communicate quality and compliance concerns to the Quality Assurance Coordinator each week during their in-person visits.
Substantial travel is expected with the position; approximately 30+ combined weeks of travel within Canada, the USA, and Europe.
This is a full-time, permanent position in accordance with Alv?ole?s current policies.
Start date: January 2022
Role and responsibilities
? Perform in-person audits of a portfolio of different Alv?ole cities? beekeeping operations, including warehouses, bee yards, vehicles, extraction facilities, and client sites and experience
? Identify quality, compliance, and safety issues and evaluate preventative measures to better assess Alv?ole?s standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
? Evaluate compliance with Food Safety systems and OHS procedures
? Develop checklists and prepare reports as needed
? Validate that Alv?ole?s digital data and documentation are up to date and accurate
? Visit all cities in your portfolio 3-4 times annually
? Plan travel (flights, hotels, car rentals) and coordinate QA visits with Beekeeping Team Managers
? Assist in the creation of updates to Alv?ole?s Quality Program
Required skills
? Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
? Proficient with using and creating spreadsheets, Google suite, Asana, and Mac systems
? Detail-oriented, hyper-organized, and motivated by facts and data
? Strong interpersonal, teamwork and autonomous working skills
? Enjoys a traveling lifestyle
? Valid driver?s license and good driving record
? Comfortable working close to beekeeping hazards
? Comfortable working at heights
