This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing for under 10 hours of work per week, primarily after normal operating hours for remote verification purposes. Responsibilities
? Responsible for remotely verifying medication orders entered after normal pharmacy hours.

? Verifies prescribed medications according to professional standards, facility procedures, and state and federal legal requirements.

? Reviews patient's medication profile for allergies, possible interactions, and appropriateness of the medication order.

? Clarifies medication orders by contacting the nursing staff or the on-duty provider.

? Communicates with on-site pharmacy staff regarding non-urgent follow-up for orders.
Requirements
? Requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

? A Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy is required.

? An unrestricted, current state license as a Registered Pharmacist in resident state is required.

? Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

? Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints.

? Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills.

? Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively to improve customer satisfaction.

? Familiarity with pharmaceutical products, services, and drug interactions.

? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
