Senior Payor Contracting Analyst (Remote)

Offering a position of Deal Modeler for the $6B/yr CA Payor Contracting portfolio. Will be responsible for building and analyzing deal models for revenue contracts with all major Health Insurers (e.g., Aetna, Anthem, Cigna) and supporting our negotiators to achieve optimal outcomes. Additionally, will develop and maintain strategic reporting on key areas such as membership trends, Medicare Advantage penetration, and competitive analysis. Standard financial and strategic development work is also to be expected. Responsibilities: ? Build deal models to support Medicare Advantage, Commercial Risk, Fee-For-Service, and ACO contract negotiations. ? Deliver insights to Negotiators and Regional C-Suite on negotiation dynamics and options, including trade-off analysis, termination analysis, and relative bargaining strength. ? Collaborate with individuals and groups across the organization to develop and maintain payor strategies and provide standard financial reporting. ? Contribute to the development of frequent C-suite project update materials ? Provide ad-hoc analytical support for Regional C-suite in CA, WA, and OR. ? Uphold and elevate the reputation of the team by providing advisory level service-excellence and insights for our Contracting partners

Skills Preferred:
? Strong MS Excel Financial/Deal Modeling Experience ? comfort working in large datasets and picking up new tools such as PowerQuery/DataModel
? Deal experience in Healthcare, M&A, Project Finance, or Shared Savings arrangements
? Basic SQL ? ability (or willingness to learn) to build/execute basic canned queries with a few joins

Education:
? BBA, MBA, or Econ degrees preferred.

Experience:
? 3-5 years in financial deal modeling
? 3-5 years in healthcare

Location:
? Flexibility to work remotely anywhere in the US or from HQ in El Segundo, CA
