Qualifications: ? 5+ years of experience in public accounting ? Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for Individuals, S & C-Corporations, Consolidated C-Corporations, Partnerships, LLC?s, Trusts, Estates and Non-Profit entities. ? Ability to perform compilation and review engagements including preparation of financial statements and reports. ? Perform advanced level tax research projects and compose comprehensive memoranda. ? Apply functional knowledge to understand potential tax issues and participate in tax planning. ? Deliver high quality tax service and advice when contacting and advising clients. ? Work independently as well as within a team, and multi-task several projects efficiently. ? Act as project manager for special projects at the request of the management team. ? Manage, mentor, and train staff associates within the practice. ? Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed. ? Participate in networking and business development activities on behalf of the firm. ? Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Further Requirements and Information:
? Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, or related field.
? 5+ years of Tax experience in public accounting.
? Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or current candidate.
? USA work authorization
? Proficient with tax preparation and workflow software including Prosystem fx Tax (Preferred), Sage/Peachtree, QuickBooks Online, strong Excel skills.
? Proficient with tax research software including BNA.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
? Strong research and oral and written communication skills, and ability to articulate complex information.
? Ability to manage multiple engagements and manage your client service team.
? Ability to consistently exercise good judgment in dealing with a variety of situations and issues.
