Responsibilities
? Provide day-to-day technical support for IBM i, iSeries, and AS/400 environments.

? Perform backups, migrations, release updates, PTF's, and disaster recovery testing.

? Assist with system administration and perform system restores.

? Setup and monitor backups, install PTF's and fixes, and setup LPARS.
,
? Troubleshoot system problems and assist with help desk tasks.

? Work as a member of a support team and individually, with occasional after-hours work.

? Develop strong customer relationships and promote deeper involvement by sales and services team.

Requirements
? 2+ years of IBM i (AS400) technical support or operator experience.

? Excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service.
,
? Ability to work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
,
? Proven ability to work with little supervision and a detail-oriented approach.

Nice-to-haves
? IBM Flash Storage experience.

? Virtual Tape Library (VTL) experience.
