Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to become an integral part of our team, providing support to a government client in a progressive and mission-focused environment. This position presents an exciting opportunity to engage in strategic initiatives, collaborate closely with executive leadership, and contribute significantly to data-driven decision-making processes that enhance key healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities
? Cultivate relationships and offer support for the executive-level client on projects that involve program planning and project management for various strategic initiatives.
? Drive healthcare projects by delivering strategic insights, including summaries and recommendations aimed at improving operational efficiency and achieving critical performance objectives.
? Perform financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to convert accounting, budgeting, and manpower data into visual reports that empower leadership to make informed decisions.
? Leverage analytical acumen to enhance processes, create functional area studies, and establish policies and procedures.
? Provide administrative assistance to department leadership as necessary.

Required Skills
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in preparing presentations for executive audiences and strong verbal and written communication skills.
? In-depth knowledge of Military Health System (MHS) programs supported by Department of Health Program (DHP) appropriations.
? Substantial experience within the Military Health System.
? Familiarity with GFEBS and/or DEAMS systems.
? Understanding of Performance Planning and its implications for an MTF?s budget.
? Knowledge of outpatient and inpatient workload methodologies and calculations.
? Acquaintance with Federal and DoD regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense FAR (DFAR), DoD Financial Management policies, Office of the Secretary of Defense regulations, and Defense Finance and Accounting Services manuals.

Qualifications
? A Bachelor?s degree is required.
? A minimum of 10 years of relevant financial management experience, particularly within the Military Health System (MHS) or Department of Defense (DoD).
