The Regulatory Remediation Oversight (RRO) team is seeking an experienced professional to lead a small team responsible for overseeing regulatory issue response and remediation activities. This remote role, preferably located in Raleigh, NC or the East Coast, involves managing the overall Framework and Training Program of Regulatory Affairs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex priorities in the banking risk and compliance landscape.
Responsibilities
? Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of risk associates.

? Allocate resources and provide guidance to ensure timely execution of team activities.
,
? Perform quality control of remediation activities carried out by other teams of the RRO function.

? Manage RRO's RCSA to ensure the internal control environment is well evaluated, documented, executed, and managed.

? Proactively identify, address, and propose solutions to remediate gaps discovered by the quality control program.

? Coordinate with relevant members of the Regulatory Affairs function to develop and maintain the function's Policy, Standards and Procedures.

? Develop and maintain a set of tools and templates for the function across exam, response, and remediation management.

? Manage Regulatory Affairs' training program by identifying training opportunities and facilitating training sessions across the Bank.
Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Operational Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management, or regulatory guidance pertaining to Enterprise and Operational Risk, OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in the same fields.

? Strong understanding of regulatory activities common to large financial institutions.

? Familiarity with the complete regulatory examination process, including examinations, ongoing monitoring, response management, and reporting.

? Advanced understanding of issue management lifecycle and processes.

? Familiarity with issue management systems (e.g., Archer GRC, ServiceNow).

? Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
