The Senior Consumer Experience Professional Intern will be an integral part of the Medicaid Clinical Services team at Humana, focusing on enhancing the interaction between the company and its members. This unpaid internship is designed for transitioning military service members or military spouses, providing a unique opportunity to leverage previously acquired skills in a supportive environment. The intern will engage in various activities aimed at optimizing member experiences, including utilizing voice of the customer insights, analyzing root causes of issues, and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization. The role requires a proactive approach to influence departmental strategies and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding project components, all while working independently and without direct supervision. Interns will be expected to utilize their skills in member experience design, recognize and eliminate friction points, and empower others within the organization to voice opportunities for improvement. The internship will also provide networking opportunities and the chance to gain valuable civilian work experience, with a commitment to putting health first for all stakeholders involved. The work is primarily remote, allowing flexibility while ensuring that the intern can work effectively from home, provided they meet the necessary internet requirements. The internship is structured to last between 90 to 180 days, depending on the program eligibility and approval, with no guarantee of full-time employment upon completion.
Responsibilities
? Work with the Medicaid Clinical Services team to optimize interactions between the company and its members.

Requirements
? Transitioning service member eligible for DOD SkillBridge or military spouse eligible for Military Spouse Fellowship.

? Bachelor's degree.
,
? 2+ years of consumer operations experience or related field.

? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
,
? Experience facilitating to a wide audience in various settings (virtual, in-person).
,
? Ability to interpret assignments and understand department strategy.
,
? Excellent time management skills.
,
? Experience making decisions and working independently with little supervision.
