The Medicare Broker Sales Manager is a pivotal role within Cigna Healthcare, responsible for executing the Medicare strategy across local topline sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker down-line sales within the designated market area of Middle and West Tennessee. This position requires a strong focus on training, relationship management, member retention, and sales growth to effectively manage the book of business. The ideal candidate will be located in or near the service area and will engage in local travel, with expectations of 75% local travel to meet with brokers and agencies, build relationships, and promote Cigna's brand and products. In this role, the Sales Manager will execute a multi-year local broker strategy, influencing brokers to increase sales by effectively positioning Cigna's products and promoting the brand. The manager will also be responsible for executing national topline strategies with downline sales agencies and local direct agencies to drive profitable growth. This includes developing and executing strategies for direct agents, searching for new local and regional agencies, and managing contacts with a long-term vision. The responsibilities extend to meeting or exceeding sales objectives through the broker channel, conducting sales presentations, leveraging community partnerships, and producing campaign tracking reports to demonstrate return on investments. The Sales Manager will also ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, coordinate with the Sales Operations team for lead management, and maintain growth relationships with key organizations within the market. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role, along with a solid understanding of the sales process and the ability to adapt to changes in the market.

? Execute on strategy to expand sales efforts across multiple products as appropriate

? Execute on market/region sales goals and objectives

? Communicate and monitor downline agency sales goals against production
,
? Assist in recruiting, business plan development and new agent training
,
? Meet or exceed sales objectives through broker channel
,
? Conduct advertised sales presentations for prospects and leverage community partnerships to host events
,
? Meet with brokers and agencies to build relationships and promote our brand
,
? Produce campaign and event tracking reports showing return on investments and key initiatives using data and excel
,
? Carry out appropriate sales activity standards as directed by their manager
,
? Report daily & weekly activities to ensure alignment with creating incremental sales
,
? Adhere to and maintain current understanding of compliance requirements and organizational policies & procedures

? Coordinate effectively with Sales Operations team for lead management and sales functions

? Create and maintain growth relationships with Centers of Influence, Veterans organizations, key organizations within the market
Requirements
? High School Diploma required
,
? Valid local state Agent Health and Life Insurance license is required
,
? Stronger Microsoft suites skills, fluent in Outlook, Excel & Word
