Crop Claims Adjuster

Description:
? Investigates and maintains claims
? Reviews and evaluates coverage and/or liability
? Secures and analyzes necessary information in the investigation of claims
? Works toward the resolution of claims files
? May attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions or trials as necessary
? May affect settlements/reserves within prescribed limits and submit recommendations to supervisor
? Conveys simple to moderately complex information to all appropriate parties
? Ensures that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner
? Ensures that claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations

Requirements: ? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience ? Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business or a related discipline ? 6 months to 3 years of related experience ? Continuous and prolonged walking and standing ? Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of objects up to 50 lbs. ? Frequent climbing, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling and crawling ? Requires overhead reaching and grabbing ? Regular and predictable attendance ? Ability to conduct visual inspections ? Work outdoors in inclement weather conditions ? Frequent travel ? May require the ability to operate a motor vehicle
