Mortgage Compliance Officer

Job Description:
Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products ? a short-term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our growing team.

In This Role You Will:
? Review and audit loan files to ensure they are in compliance with the lending guidelines and are error free
? Track and clear any post-closing exceptions in a timely basis
? Assist other DFS members in coordinating settlements with title companies and borrower
? Obtain financial information and property information from borrowers.
? Ensure all Loan files are in compliance with Dominion Financial Services, LLC Standards
? Maintain all loan files and informing upper management of any files that are about to be or currently out of compliance
? Review borrower financials, document pertinent information, provide recommended approval amounts and talk intelligently about the borrower

Requirements: ? 3+ Years of experience in lending ? Experience with Qualify Control ? Advanced in Microsoft Office ? Proficient in Outlook and Adobe

Other Qualifications include:
? Applicant must be always willing to ask questions and do research when applicable
? Applicant must be extremely detailed oriented
? Applicant must be entrepreneurial and have the will to achieve and grow
? Applicant must be very good on the phone and in person
