About the position

The Accounting Associate Intermediate position at Robert Half focuses on providing trade support within the Loan Trading Documentation team. This role is designed for individuals with a solid understanding of accounting functions and banking operations, and it offers a hybrid work model combining both office and remote work. The position is a short-term contract opportunity, emphasizing the importance of strong communication and time management skills while managing a heavy trade portfolio.

Responsibilities
? Review and coordinate the settlement of third party assignments in collaboration with front office clients, counsel, and operations.

? Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and counterparts.
,
? Manage a heavy trade portfolio across various business lines, ensuring a clean ageing profile.
,
? Review LSTA standard documents along with other legal documents, and Credit Agreements, focusing on assignability language.
,
? Identify and escalate issues to front office, in-house legal counsel, and management when necessary.
,
? Prepare daily and weekly MIS reports to track the status of open items and measure risk.
,
? Demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to organize workload efficiently.
,
? Communicate effectively with clients, showing attention to detail and not being afraid to ask questions.
,
? Take initiative to learn and understand all aspects of the role.
,
? Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant software for various tasks including documentation, reporting, and operations.

Requirements
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Zoom

? Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Banking Operations

? Skilled in Documentation and Reporting tasks

? Ability to Review and Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks

? Experience with Credit and Financial Notes

? Strong Time Management skills

? Experience with ProFile, MIS, and Third Party operations
