So we?re redesigning the home-buying experience. We?re a fast-paced real estate startup that empowers agents to help homebuyers buy with cash. We buy homes on behalf of our partners? clients with our cash, then the client buys the home back from us.

Founder and CEO Tim Heyl, a 10-year industry veteran and owner of one of the fastest-growing agent teams in the country, started Homeward in 2018. In fact, he bought our first customer?s home with his own life savings. Today we offer two services ? Buy with cash and Buy before you sell.

We?ve raised more than $160MM in equity capital from top-tier venture investors, including Norwest, Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, Adams Street, Javelin, and LiveOak. Our leadership team includes experts from the real estate, mortgage, and technology industries.

About the Opportunity

We?re seeking a manager for our mortgage tech team to lead the team into the next evolution of our mortgage technology stack. Over the last 12 months the team and tech-stack has rapidly evolved and Homeward needs a tech leader with a deep understanding in mortgage technology and familiarity with the dynamic tech landscapes of a startup.

In this role, you will:
? Work as a liaison between cross functional team leadership and technology specialists
? Orchestrate the tech scoping conversations and delegation deliverables to direct reports
? Work with cross-product teams to evaluate impacts on other enterprise systems
? Translate technical requirements into JIRA tickets through scoping meetings with cross-functional partners and program managers
? Facilitate technical design review oversight meetings with direct reports
? Help grow the careers of our mortgage technology specialists

What you?ll bring:
? 10+ years of experience within Mortgage and Title technology industry
? Experience leading technology-focused teams
? Proven track record of managing and growing a tech team
? Ability to work in rapidly changing tech-stack
? Open to collaboration and input from cross functional team
? An understanding of how to translate problems from business partners into technical solutions
