Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

The Credentialing Coordinator has a strong knowledge of the Credentialing process, including initial appointments and reappointments including the requirements of processing all disciplines of the medical staff, i.e., MD, DO, DPM and AHP, etc.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications: ? CPCS certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience credentialing in Medical Staff; or 2 years of credentialing in Medical Staff with no certification. ? Proficient with a variety of computer programs, including MS Office. ? Typing up to 50 or more WPM. ? Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties. ? Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. ? Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. ? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Preferred Qualifications: ? Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
