Workday Payroll/Payroll Tax Partner

This role focuses on accurate and timely payroll processing and managing all aspects of payroll tax compliance for North America. You'll ensure adherence to corporate payroll policies, provide excellent customer service, and manage relationships with external consultants.

Qualifications: ? Associate s or Bachelor s degree preferred. ? 2+ years of experience with Workday Payroll. ? 6+ years of payroll experience. ? 4+ years of multi-state and local payroll tax experience. ? Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations. ? Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables). ? Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines. ? Experience with OSV or ADP SmartCompliance is required. ? Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a customer service orientation. ? Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Daily Responsibilities: ? Process payroll for multiple entities in the US and Canada. ? Validate and ensure data accuracy in Workday. ? Audit imported payroll data and approve within timelines. ? Update payroll records accurately for various changes and gross ups. ? Review and reconcile daily tax and wage amounts with OSV/ADP. ? Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and reporting, including W-2s and W-2c s. ? Partner with the payroll team and external consultants for tax calculations and payments. ? Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve payroll and tax-related issues. ? Develop and implement strong internal controls for payroll processing and compliance. ? Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures. ? Provide reports for internal and external audits. ? Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting. ? Perform other related duties as assigned.
