Tax & Accounting Associate

Huber CPA, PC is searching for talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our team as a Tax & Accounting Associate. Associates play a key role in client engagements by establishing a personal and direct working relationship with clients. They complete bookkeeping, prepare Business and Individual tax returns, and provide guidance on a variety of tax issues for clients. This position will engage, maintain, and improve client relationships.

What we are looking for in a Tax & Accounting Associate:
? Financial Statement Understanding
? Debit & Credit Understanding
? Tax Law Knowledge
? Preparation of Individual, Business, and Payroll Tax Returns
? Excellent Customer Service Skills
? Comfortable and Willing to Work in a Team Environment with Challenging Deadlines
? Working Knowledge of QuickBooks
? Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Our future Tax & Accounting Associate will have skills and experience in these areas:

? Proficiency with Time Management and Meeting Deadlines While Multitasking
? Flexibility to Adapt to Firm and Client Specific Practices
? Bachelor?s Degree
? Minimum of Two Years-Experience in Accounting and Tax Preparation.
? CCH Axcess ProSystem Tax Software Experience a Plus
? Willingness to obtain or EA Designation or CPA Certification

Additional Information:
? Overtime Required February ? April
? Overtime Possible August ? October
? 4 Day Weeks May ? July, November ? December
? Position Not Eligible for Remote Work
? Position starting at $20+ DOE
