Responsibilities
If you are a Software Engineer that?s highly motivated, innovative, results driven, and enjoys driving complex efforts, then this position and team is for you. This team is responsible for making sure pertinent claims information is shared to our underwriting partners using software solutions. Engineers on this team are responsible for maintenance/support, regular updates to Enterprise Claims System (ECS) and for modernizing our components.
Qualifications
? Experience in RESTful API application development using Java and Spring boot
? Strong aptitude to learn new languages, frameworks, and architectures like JavaScript, SOAP, REST, XML, WSDL, CXF, JSON, Junit, BDD, Redis, LDAP, Vault, Node.js, Python, etc.
? Experience using databases and tooling: DB2, SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
? Experience with Salesforce
? Familiarity with support and monitoring tools, Service Now (incident handling), Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.
? Familiarity with cloud development platforms (AWS and Azure)
? DevOps experience using Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and production deployment using GitOps
? Demonstrates high levels of ownership, initiative, and collaboration/teamwork to work within a team and across multiple teams

Because work-life-balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!
? Potential starting salary range: $78,081.25 - $148,000.
? Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
? High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
? Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
Work Arrangement:
HYBRID: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.
HUB LOCATION: Bloomington, IL, Dunwoody, GA, Richardson, TX, or Tempe, AZ
