Incumbency: This position will have a 12-month incumbency period for a lateral move and a 6-month incumbency period for a promotional opportunity (beginning on the effective date of the position) which must be met before the employee can post for any other State Farm position. The incumbency period does not affect the at-will relationship between State Farm and the employee and does not create an employment contract, nor contractual rights.
Responsibilities
The Life Modernization Whole / Term Product OneTeam, aligned with Life Co. strategy, designs and defines our modernized Life Insurance products and its features.
An Analyst on the Whole / Term product team is responsible for product specification, requirement definition, and operational support for the products we create. Our team requires a wide variety of skills and expertise, so specific area of responsibility may vary.
Key Responsbilities:
? Defining business requirements
? Gathering feedback from established feedback loops and influence enhancements based on defined business outcomes
? Identifying and defining customer, agent, and operational experience improvement opportunities
? Working closely with LHIPS Go-To-Market and Experience Management teams to plan and deliver an improved experience for customers, agents and operations
? Working closely with Enterprise Technology (ET) to develop solutions - understand impacts to Mod outcomes including experience
? Solutioning with Whole/Term & Underwriting Capabilities Product Team Developers and ET Technical Architects
? Understanding change needs and initiating conversations with key business partners and stakeholders
? Creating/Supporting knowledge article and training development
Qualifications
? Life Insurance product knowledge and acumen is desired.
? Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points, both verbally and in writing
? Builds effective relationships, and collaborates across departments and with remote/hybrid peers on completing their assignments while assessing work priorities
? Effectively navigates the organization to help deliver Life Modernization capabilities, as well current Legacy work efforts
? Applies depth and breadth of knowledge regarding industry trends/changes, best practices, and influence the direction of product solutions as well as their integration into existing/new processes and potential solutions
? Demonstration of learning agility and adaptability
? Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills
? Helps foster a growth mindset that fuels innovation on the team
? High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation necessary
? Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple complex work efforts
? Ability to think creatively; identify and resolve problems independently and with pace
? Experience using agile methodologies, practices and principles desired but not required

? Potential starting salary range: $65,000 - $80,000
? Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
? High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
? Potential yearly incentive pay up to 10% of base salary
