About the position

The Consumer Lending Oversight Specialist position is a hybrid role based in either Lancaster, Pennsylvania, or Georgetown, Delaware. This full-time position operates from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The primary focus of this role is to support compliance initiatives within Consumer Lending Oversight by monitoring and reporting on risk and control issues that impact the business unit. The specialist will act as the first line of defense for Fulton's Consumer Credit compliance, ensuring that new credits comply with Consumer Credit policies and relevant government regulations. In this role, the specialist will assist in compiling and distributing accurate reports to management, which may include data related to the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Regulation B, and quality control reviews. The position requires analyzing transactions for new HMDA-related requests and contacting lenders regarding any violations found in loan reporting. Additionally, the specialist will review closing documents for completeness and compliance, ensuring that all system checklist conditions are met to facilitate timely workflows for dependent departments. The specialist will also provide compliance reporting analysis to evaluate and monitor consumer credit operations for potential regulatory compliance risks. Participation in the remediation of audit and compliance findings is essential, as is identifying training needs related to compliance issues and communicating these to management. Staying current on regulatory developments in collaboration with the Compliance department is crucial, as is partnering with Retail Credit team members to implement necessary changes to policies and processes. The specialist will serve as a point of contact for retail sales team members regarding consumer credit regulatory inquiries and may participate in special projects as required.

Responsibilities
? Assist in the compilation and distribution of consistent and accurate reporting to management, including HMDA, Funded or Non-Funded data, Regulation B, and Quality Control.

? Analyze transactions for new HMDA-related requests and contact lenders for detected violations in loan reporting.

? Review documents returned from closing to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulations.

? Ensure all applicable system checklist conditions are accounted for and approved to guarantee timely workflows for dependent departments.

? Provide compliance reporting analysis support in evaluating and monitoring consumer credit operations for potential regulatory compliance risk.

? Participate in remediation of any audit, compliance, or regulatory findings associated with the line of business, identifying training needs and communicating them to management.

? Remain current on regulatory developments in collaboration with the Compliance department and partner with Retail Credit team members to implement necessary changes.

? Serve as point of contact for retail sales team members for consumer credit regulatory inquiries and participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business or a related field (Required).

? 2 or more years of experience in Consumer Lending (Required).
,
? 1 or more years of experience in Consumer Credit compliance (Preferred).
