.NET Technical Leader

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET/Azure/Angular/React Technical Leader to join our team onsite. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong technical background and proven leadership abilities to guide our development teams through complex projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of .NET, Azure, Angular, and React technologies and have a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership

? Lead and oversee the development and implementation of software projects utilizing .NET, Azure, Angular, and React technologies.

? Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices and high standards are maintained.

? Collaborate with architects and other technical leaders to design scalable and maintainable software solutions.

? Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and incorporate them into the development process when appropriate.
Project Management

? Work closely with client Engineering Managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

? Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

? Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.

? Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Team Collaboration

? Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.

? Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including QA, UX/UI, and DevOps, to ensure seamless project execution.

? Facilitate code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

? Encourage continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
Software Development

? Participate in hands-on development, coding, and debugging as needed.

? Ensure code quality, performance, and security through rigorous testing and review processes.

? Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software projects.

? Implement and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
Qualifications
Education and Experience

? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

? Minimum of 13+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on in .NET, C#, .Net Core & Web API, Azure, Angular, SAML, Auth, and React technologies.

? Proven track record of leading and delivering complex software projects.

? Experience in an onsite technical leadership role is highly preferred.

? Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment

? Experience in message driven architecture and hands on experience in Kafka

? Experience in SQL and NOSQL DB especially in MongoDB

? Experience in Azure DevOps, GitHub platforms

? Experience in Azure Cloud, Data Hub, Federated Graph and Graph API is a plus.

? Should have good troubleshooting skills in API and Backend.

? Manages workload and other assignments efficiently while able to resolve time critical situations.

? Create/Review detailed design documents

? Providing technical support to team members for clearing bottlenecks and obstacles

? Collaborating with other cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance of applications.

? Should have technical skills to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact efficiently with client.
Technical Skills

? Strong proficiency in .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET.

? Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture.

? Advanced knowledge of front-end development frameworks, including Angular and React.

? Solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL Server and NoSQL databases.

? Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 102,600? $ 162,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant?s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant?s applicable plans.
